Samsung will finally take the wraps off its Galaxy S10 series at an Unpacked event in San Francisco next week. Several press renders of all the three upcoming Galaxy S10 models had been leaked on the web recently, along with their key hardware specifications. While we have spotted the Galaxy S10+ on the Geekbench database earlier, the top-end 12GB RAM variant of the upcoming flagship has now made its first appearance on the popular benchmark database. In addition to Geekbench, the 12GB RAM variant has appeared on the AnTuTu database as well.
Samsung Galaxy S10+ 12GB RAM Variant Appears on Geekbench
The new Samsung Galaxy S10+ SM-G975F listing on Geekbench reveals the smartphone runs on the company’s in-house developed 8nm Exynos 9820 octa-core processor, clubbed with a whopping 12GB of RAM. This is actually the very first time that the 12GB RAM variant of the Galaxy S10+ has been spotted on Geekbench. The 12GB RAM variant of the smartphone has scored 4,450 points in the single-core and 9,753 points in the multi-core test on Geekbench. These scores are more or less on par with the scores achieved by the 6GB RAM variant caught on Geekbench earlier this month. The AnTuTu benchmark listing confirms the 12GB RAM variant will include a massive 1TB of internal storage and run on the Android Pie operating system out of the box. As for benchmarking performance, the Galaxy S10+ with 12GB of RAM scored 3,26,185 points on the AnTuTu benchmark, which is again not very different from the leaked scores of the 6GB RAM variant.
The Samsung Galaxy S10+ will arrive with an impressive 6.4-inch Infinity-O Super AMOLED panel with Quad HD+ resolution, an In-display fingerprint sensor, and Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection on top. As confirmed by the Geekbench listing above, several variants of the smartphone will run on the Exynos 9820 chipset. Some variants, however, will be powered by a Snapdragon 855 chipset instead. In the memory department, Galaxy S10+ will be available in a total of three configurations: 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 512GB storage, and 12GB RAM + 1TB storage. For further expansion, we expect to see a microSD card slot as well. In the camera department, Galaxy S10+ will feature a triple-camera setup on the back and dual selfie cameras on the front. Keeping the lights on will be a 4000mAh capacity battery.
