Earlier this month, Chinese telecommunications regulatory authority TENAA had certified an upcoming Lenovo mid-range Android smartphone bearing model number L38111. The upcoming smartphone has now been caught on the Geekbench database, revealing the name of the chipset under its hood.

Lenovo L38111 Will Run on a Snapdragon 710 Chipset

The smartphone’s TENAA listing had only revealed that it will have an octa-core processor running under the hood, clocked at 2.2 GHz. If the L38111 Geekbench listing is genuine, the upcoming mid-ranger from Lenovo will have a 10nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 octa-core chipset inside. Similar to most other recent mid-range Android smartphones, the L38111 will come equipped with 6GB of RAM. The combination of a powerful Snapdragon 710 chipset and 6GB RAM allowed the device to score an impressive 1,856 points in the single-core test and 6,085 points in the multi-core test. As far as the software is concerned, the Lenovo L38111 will be shipped with the Android 9 Pie OS right out of the box.

The Lenovo L38111 listing on TENAA had revealed the smartphone will arrive with a 6.3-inch LCD display featuring a waterdrop notch at the top and Full HD+ resolution. In the memory department, the smartphone is expected to be available in three different configurations: 3GB RAM + 32GB storage, 4GB RAM + 64GB storage, and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. Further expansion up to 256GB will be supported as well, thanks to Hybrid Dual SIM slots.

At the rear will be a triple-camera setup with a 16-megapixel primary sensor. The resolution of the other two camera sensors on the back has not been revealed yet. For selfies, the handset will come with an 8-megapixel snapper on the front. Fueling the internals of the Lenovo L38111 will be a 3930mAh (minimum capacity) battery with support for 18W fast charging. The TENAA listing also confirmed the presence of a fingerprint sensor on the back of the phone. There is no word yet on exactly when the smartphone will be formally launched.
