Last month, Motorola confirmed that its mid-range Moto G7 Plus smartphone will be launching in China on April 8. Ahead of its format debut in China, the Moto G7 Plus has been listed on the Motorola China online store, revealing a few key details.
Moto G7 Plus to Start at CNY 2,099 in China
The Motorola G7 Plus listing on the company’s online store in China reveals the mid-range Android smartphone will be available in two configurations in the country – 4GB RAM + 128GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. While the 4GB RAM variant will be priced at CNY 2,099, the 6GB RAM variant is listed at CNY 2,399. As for color options, consumers in China will be able to choose between Red and Dark Blue colors. The listing also reveals that the handset will begin shipping on April 11th.
When it comes to hardware specs, the Chinese version of the Moto G7 Plus is expected to be more or less identical to the international variants. Launched globally in February this year, the Moto G7 Plus comes with a 6.2-inch IPS LCD display featuring 1080 x 2270 Full HD+ resolution and a waterdrop notch at the top. It is powered by a 14nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 octa-core processor with custom Kryo 260 cores clocked at up to 1.8 GHz and an Adreno 509 GPU. In the memory department, however, the global variant only packs 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.
Moving on to optics, the Moto G7 Plus has a 16MP + 2MP dual-camera setup at the rear. The primary 16MP snapper comes with optical image stabilization and is clubbed with an f/1.7 aperture lens. On the front is a 12MP single selfie camera with 1.25um pixel size. The Moto G7 Plus is fueled by a 3000mAh capacity battery and supports up to 27W fast charging. Some of the other highlights of the Motorola mid-ranger include stereo speakers, a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and splash resistance.
