Alleged hands-on images showing the upcoming Motorola G7 budget Android smartphone were recently leaked on the web, confirming some of its headline features. The Moto G7 has now been spotted on the TENAA website, which confirms a few key specifications of the upcoming smartphone. However, no images of the Moto G7 have been published by TENAA just yet. In addition to TENAA, the XT1965-6 variant has been certified by the MIIT certification as well.
Moto G7 TENAA Listing Confirms 6.24” Display Size
Chinese certification agency TENAA has listed the XT1965-6 variant of the Moto G7, which is the one that will be sold in the country. According to the limited information listed on the agency’s website, the Moto G7 will sport a 6.24-inch display. While the display resolution has not been confirmed yet, we expect it to be 1080 x 2340 (Full HD+) with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The TENAA listing also reveals the physical dimensions of the handset. The Moto G7 will measure 156.9 x 75.3 x 8.2mm. Keeping the lights on will be a 2820mAh capacity battery. As suggested by a recent leak, the Moto G7 will offer 27W wired fast charging support. While no additional information is listed on the TENAA website currently, we expect the complete specifications of the Moto G7 to be listed very soon, along with images showing the handset from various sides.
The Moto G7 is rumored to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 octa-core 14nm processor under the hood, coupled with up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It will also feature a refreshed design with a waterdrop notch display, dual rear cameras with OIS, and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. In terms of software, the Moto G7, as well as other upcoming Moto G7 series handsets, are going to run Android 9 Pie out of the box. The Moto G7, Moto G7 Play, Moto G7 Plus, and Moto G7 Power smartphones are set to debut at an event in Brazil on February 7.
