HMD Global Oy is expected to unveil its Nokia 9 PureView flagship Android smartphone at the Mobile World Congress 2019 in Barcelona next month. Ahead of the big event, a variant of the Nokia 9 PureView has bagged 3C certification in China.
Nokia 9 PureView TA-1094 Granted 3C Certification
The Nokia 9 PureView TA-1094 variant has been certified by the 3C certification agency in China. According to the 3C certification, the smartphone will be bundled with the AD-18WC fast travel charger in the box in China. The AD-18WC travel charger supports charging speeds of up to 12V 1.5A or 18W. Aside from this, however, the 3C certification does not reveal any other new information regarding the TA-1094.
The Nokia 9 PureView is rumored to sport a 5.99-inch AMOLED display with 1440 x 2960 Quad HD+ resolution. Under the hood, it is expected to run on last year’s Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 octa-core processor and not the latest Snapdragon 855. However, HMD Global is likely to introduce a variant of the smartphone powered by the newer Snapdragon 855 7nm processor later this year. Moving on to the memory department, rumors claim the flagship smartphone will be available with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. A variant with 8GB of RAM is likely on the cards as well.
The key highlight of the Nokia 9 PureView will be its five rear cameras. Since it will be the first Nokia-branded smartphone from HMD Global to carry PureView branding, the phone should be extremely impressive in terms of camera performance. It will be quite impressive in the battery life department as well, thanks to a large 4150mAh capacity battery. The smartphone is likely to run on the Android 9.0 Pie operating system out of the box. Just like other recent Nokia-branded smartphones, the flagship Nokia 9 PureView will be an Android One smartphone.
