OPPO is set to introduce its first smartphone with a pop-up selfie camera in India on March 5. Dubbed F11 Pro, the smartphone will succeed the F9 Pro from last year. Ahead of its formal debut next month, the smartphone has popped up on the Geekbench benchmark database, confirming a few key specifications.
OPPO F11 Pro to Run on MediaTek’s Helio P70 SoC
The OPPO CPH1969 Geekbench listing confirms the upcoming mid-range smartphone will be powered by MediaTek’s Helio P70 octa-core processor. Its predecessor, the F9 Pro, runs on a MediaTek Helio P60 chipset. MediaTek’s new Helio P70 chipset is manufactured on the same 12nm FinFET production process by TSMC as the Helio P60 but comes with faster clock speeds to deliver up to 13% higher performance. Moving on to the benchmarking scores, the F11 Pro scored 1,573 points in the single-core and 5,844 points in the multi-core test on Geekbench. In addition to the chipset, the Geekbench listing also confirms that the smartphone will feature 6GB of RAM. Just as you would expect, the F11 Pro will be running on the Android 9.0 Pie operating system at launch, with OPPO’s ColorOS 6.0 custom user-interface running on top.
Nearly all the key specifications of the OPPO F11 Pro were leaked online last week, thanks to the folks over at MySmartPrice. According to the smartphone’s leaked spec sheet, it will feature a 6.5-inch LTPS LCD display with 1080 x 2340 Full HD+ resolution and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. In terms of memory, the F11 Pro will be available in two variants: 6GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. At the rear, the smartphone will sport a 48MP + 5MP dual-camera setup. On the front, it will be equipped with a 16MP AI selfie snapper. Fueling the internals of the handset will be a 4000mAh capacity non-removable battery with OPPO’s VOOC 3.0 fast charging technology.
