OPPO R17 Pro King of Glory Custom Edition Now Available for Pre-Order in China

Last month, OPPO announced that it would formally launch the R17 Pro “King of Glory” custom edition in China on January 7. Ahead of its formal launch in China next week, the custom edition has now been listed on the OPPO online store in the country. The OPPO R17 Pro “King of Glory” custom edition is the result of a partnership between the smartphone maker and Tencent Games. It has been designed to deliver an optimized experience for “King of Glory”, a very popular multiplayer online battle arena game from Tencent Games.

OPPO R17 Pro King of Glory Custom Edition Pre-Orders Now Open

The OPPO R17 Pro King of Glory Custom Edition is now available for pre-order in China via the OPPO online store for CNY 4,299 ($625). Just like the other R17 Pro variants, the new custom edition comes in a single memory configuration with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Customers who pre-order the R17 Pro King of Glory Custom Edition will be eligible to receive a fantasy new year gift set from OPPO.

Aside from the logo on the back and a custom wallpaper, the OPPO R17 Pro King of Glory custom edition is identical to the standard variants. It comes with a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with 1080 x 2340 Full HD+ resolution, an In-display fingerprint sensor, and Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. Under the hood, OPPO R17 Pro runs on a 10nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 octa-core processor clocked at up to 2.2 GHz with an Adreno 616 GPU. As mentioned above, the smartphone packs 8GB of RAM and included 128GB of internal storage. While there is no dedicated microSD card slot, the smartphone does support further expansion with Hybrid Dual-SIM slots.

Moving on to the camera hardware, OPPO R17 Pro has an impressive triple-camera setup on the back with a 12MP primary sensor, 20MP secondary sensor, and a TOF 3D sensor. On the front of the handset is a 25MP AI selfie camera clubbed with an f/2.0 aperture. Fueling the R17 Pro is a 3700mAh non-removable battery with SuperVOOC Flash Charge technology. It currently runs on Android 8.1 Oreo-based ColorOS 5.2.
