Realme 5i has been in the news for quite a while now and it was only yesterday when we could get a glimpse at how the device would look like. We also got to know that the Realme 5i would launch on January 6 in Vietnam (global launch date is still unknown, by the way) and now, the device has visited the Geekbench database ahead of the launch which double-checks some of the specifications that were leaked earlier.
Realme 5i Running on Snapdragon 665 SoC and 4GB of RAM appears on the Geekbench Database
As seen in the image, the Realme 5i smartphone (with the model number RMX2030) has hit the Geekbench listing. As per the Geekbench database, the Realme 5i has scored 1,543 in the single-core test and 5,602 in the multi-core test. Furthermore, the Realme 5i is now confirmed to be powered with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset which will be coupled with 4GB of RAM.
Speaking of the RAM, the earlier leak suggests that the Realme 5i will be available in 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of onboard storage configurations. Also, the device is confirmed to feature a quad-camera setup at the back which will comprise of a 12MP primary camera, an 8MP wide-angle camera, and two 2MP sensors. At the front, the Realme 5i is tipped to sport an 8MP selfie shooter which will be housed inside a waterdrop notch. Speaking of the battery, we can expect the Realme 5i to sport a big 5,000mAh battery. There will be a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner coming up with the Realme 5i.
As of now, the price of the Realme 5i is not confirmed, but since the device appears to be a toned-down variant of the Realme 5 series, we can expect it to fall under the upper budget spectrum of the Android ecosystem. It would be interesting to see when Realme launches the device globally, and how it fits into their existing Realme 5 lineup of smartphones which already is pretty stacked.
