Redmi has released a new teaser for its upcoming K20 flagship smartphone on Weibo, confirming that it will have a 4000mAh battery inside. The smartphone’s battery capacity was revealed just a few days back in a leak on Weibo. Redmi’s latest teaser for the K20 arrives a day after it confirmed the smartphone will be officially unveiled in China on May 28.
Redmi K20 Confirmed to Come With a 4000mAh Battery
While the Redmi teaser only confirms the battery capacity, the previous leak had claimed the smartphone will also have support for 27W wired fast charging. Thanks to the large 4000mAh capacity battery, we can expect the Redmi K20 to be quite impressive in terms of battery life, even though it may not be best-in-class. The Xiaomi sub-brand has also confirmed the smartphone’s camera will be capable of capturing slow-motion videos at up to 960FPS. Similar to the Xiaomi Mi 9, the primary sensor on the back of the K20 will be a Sony IMX586 with 48-megapixel resolution. Redmi uses the same sensor in its budget Redmi Note 7 Pro as well.
Redmi is expected to release two variants of the K20 flagship smartphone. In addition to the standard Redmi K20, the company may launch a Pro version as well with slightly upgraded specifications. However, the key differences between the K20 and K20 Pro smartphones have not been revealed yet. In fact, Redmi hasn’t even confirmed the existence of the K20 Pro. Along with the K20 and K20 Pro, we expect Redmi to launch the RedmiBook 14 at its upcoming event in China. Certified by the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) earlier this month, the RedmiBook 14 will be the brand’s first notebook. It is expected to come with a 14-inch Full HD resolution display and may be priced lower than most of its rivals.
