Earlier this week, the Bluetooth SIG certified Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A20 smartphone. The Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) has now certified the Galaxy A30, which is expected to be unveiled alongside the Galaxy A10 and Galaxy A50 smartphones in India on February 28.
Samsung Galaxy A30 Likely to be Launched in India on February 28
The Bluetooth SIG has certified multiple variants of the Galaxy A30. These include SM-A305F, SM-A305G, SM-A305GN, SM-A305N, SM-A305_DS, SM-A305FN_DS, SM-A305GN_DS, SM-A305GT_DS, SM-A305G_DS, SM-A305FN. While the certification does not reveal any key feature of the upcoming smartphone, it does confirm that the smartphone will offer support for the Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy standard.
The spec sheet of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A30 was leaked online by MySmartPrice last week, revealing nearly all the key features and specifications of the smartphone. Similar to the Galaxy A50, the Galaxy A30 will sport a 3D glossy plastic body and a large 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-U display with 1080 x 2340 Full HD+ resolution. It will be powered by an Exynos 7904 14nm octa-core processor under the hood, the same chip that powers the Galaxy M20. In the memory department, Galaxy A30 is expected to be available in two configurations: 3GB RAM + 32GB storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage. The smartphone will support further expansion up to 512GB, thanks to a dedicated microSD card slot.
In the camera department, Samsung Galaxy A30 will have a 16MP + 5MP dual-camera setup on the back and a 16MP selfie snapper on the front. Keeping the lights on will be a 4000mAh capacity non-removable battery with 15W fast charging support. The Galaxy A30 will also come with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, Samsung Pay-Mini, Dolby Atmos, Dual VoLTE, and Bixby. It will be available in three colors at launch: Black, White, and Blue. As for software, the smartphone will ship with Android Pie-based One UI out of the box. Samsung is expected to debut the Galaxy A30 alongside the Galaxy A10 and Galaxy A50 smartphones in India on February 28.
