Galaxy A60 Bluetooth Certification

One of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A-series smartphones, the Galaxy A30 was granted Bluetooth certification last month. The Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) has now certified yet another upcoming Galaxy A-series smartphone, the Galaxy A60.

Samsung Galaxy A60 Launching Soon?

The Bluetooth SIG has granted certification to the SM-A6060 variant of the upcoming Galaxy A60. Apart from confirming that the smartphone will support Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy, there is nothing else that the certification reveals about the Galaxy A60. However, the Bluetooth certification does hint at an imminent launch.

According to a recent leak, the Galaxy A60 will have a design very similar to the Galaxy A50. It will come with an Infinity-U display on the front and vertically-stacked triple cameras at the rear. While the Galaxy A30 and A50 smartphones feature a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display, the Galaxy A60 is tipped to come with a 6.7-inch sized Super AMOLED panel with Full HD+ resolution. Unsurprisingly, the Galaxy A60 will also feature an optical In-display fingerprint sensor.

Under the hood, Galaxy A60 is rumored to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 chipset. Built on an 11nm manufacturing process, the Snapdragon 675 should allow the smartphone to deliver significantly improved performance compared to the Galaxy A50, which runs on a 10nm Exynos 9610 octa-core processor. In the memory department, rumors suggest the Galaxy A60 will be available in 6GB and 8GB RAM variants in most markets. As for storage, the smartphone is expected to include 128GB of onboard memory with a dedicated microSD card slot for further expansion up to 512GB.

In the camera department, the Galaxy A60 is tipped to sport a 35MP + 8MP + 5MP setup at the rear. Housed within the U-shaped notch at the top of the display is said to be a 32MP resolution selfie snapper. If the rumored specs are indeed accurate, the Galaxy A60 could be Samsung’s first smartphone to offer a 32MP selfie camera.
