Earlier this week, the US FCC had certified the upcoming Galaxy A50 mid-range smartphone from Samsung, revealing a few key details. The agency has now certified the Galaxy A30, which is expected to be launched alongside the Galaxy A50 very soon. The Samsung Galaxy A30 FCC filings reveal the smartphone will measure 158.5 x 74.5mm and have a 157.5mm or 6.2-inch display diagonal. In terms of connectivity, the smartphone is listed to support Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac dual-band, Bluetooth, and ANT+. The FCC filings also confirm the Galaxy A30 will be shipped with Samsung’s 15W EP-TA200 power adapter.  Apart from these details, however, the FCC listing does not reveal any other key information regarding the upcoming Galaxy A-series smartphone.

The complete spec sheet of the upcoming Galaxy A10, Galaxy A30, and Galaxy A50 were leaked online yesterday, courtesy of the folks over at MySmartPrice. According to the leaked spec sheet, Galaxy A30 will feature a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-U display with 1080 x 2340 Full HD+ resolution and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It will be powered by an Exynos 7904 octa-core processor clocked at up to 1.8 GHz, coupled with up to 4GB of RAM. While the base variant with 3GB RAM will include 32GB of internal storage, the 4GB RAM variant will offer 64GB of internal storage. Further expansion up to 512GB will be possible thanks to a dedicated microSD card slot.

Fueling the internals of the Galaxy A30 will be a 4000mAh capacity battery with 15W fast charging support. Unlike the Galaxy A50, which will include an In-display fingerprint sensor, the Galaxy A30 will come with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. In the camera department, the upcoming smartphone will have a 16MP + 5MP dual-camera setup at the rear and a 16MP selfie snapper on the front. Both the primary 16MP rear and 16MP selfie camera will be coupled with an f/1.9 aperture. In terms of design, the handset will offer a 3D glossy plastic build and come in three color options at launch: Black, White, and Blue.
