OPPO’s upcoming Reno 2 with model numbers PCKM00 and PCKT00 has been certified by TENAA in China, revealing all its key specs. Additionally, the smartphone has been certified by the 3C certification agency in China.
OPPO Reno 2 TENAA Listing Confirms Key Specs
The OPPO PCKM00 and PCKT00 listings on the TENAA website reveal the smartphone will come with a 6.5-inch sized featuring 1080 x 2400 Full HD+ resolution. In terms of physical dimensions, TENAA reveals the Reno 2 measures 160 x 74.3 x 9.5mm. The smartphone will be powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 2.2 GHz, likely the Snapdragon 730G. In terms of memory, the smartphone will be available with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB internal storage.
In terms of optics, the upcoming Reno 2 will have a total of five camera sensors. The phone will have a 48MP + 13MP + 8MP + 2MP quad-camera setup on the back and a 16MP pop-up camera on the front. Keeping the lights on will be a 3915mAh capacity battery. The 3C listings, on the other hand, tell us the smartphone will include support for up to 20W wired fast charging. On the software front, Reno 2 will be running on Android 9 Pie OS out of the box. The smartphone will be available in three colors: Black, Pink, and Green.
According to a recent report published by MySmartPrice, OPPO will be launching three new Reno series phones in India on August 28: Reno 2, Reno 2Z, and Reno 2F. Reno 2 is tipped to be positioned right below the Reno 10x Zoom Edition.
The Reno 2Z is expected to feature a 6.53-inch AMOLED display and a MediaTek Helio P90 chipset, paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. Just like the Reno 2, Reno 2Z will have a 4000mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 fast charging support. In the camera department, Reno 2Z will have a 48MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP quad-camera setup on the back and a 16MP pop-up camera for selfies. OPPO Reno 2F is also expected to have a quad-camera setup on the back.
