Chinese smartphone maker Vivo is all set to introduce the X27 and S1 smartphones in China on March 19. Ahead of the launch event in China, a mysterious new Vivo smartphone bearing model numbers V1836A and V1836T has popped up on TENAA.
Vivo to Launch a New 6.72” Smartphone Soon?
The Vivo V1836T and V1836A listings on the TENAA website reveal the upcoming smartphone will sport a massive 6.72-inch display. Even though images of the smartphone are yet to be published on the TENAA website, we can be fairly certain that the device will have a nearly bezel-less design, which should make it more compact than its screen size would suggest. According to the information listed by TENAA, the smartphone measures 165.7 x 74.6 x 8.99mm. For reference, the Vivo V15 with 6.53-inch display size measures 161.2 x 75.9 x 8.5mm. Apart from the large 6.72-inch screen size and physical dimensions, the TENAA listing tells us the device will pack a 3920mAh (minimum) capacity battery.
TENAA will likely update the V1836A and V1836T listings on its website with a lot more details regarding the upcoming Vivo smartphone within the next few days. In addition to the specifications, we expect images of the smartphone to go live as well on the agency’s website. Going by the smartphone’s display size, there is a possibility of V1836A and V1836T being variants of the rumored X27 Pro smartphone. However, it needs to be noted that Vivo is yet to officially confirm the existence of the X27 Pro. In case it is indeed the X27 Pro that has made an appearance on TENAA today, the smartphone will definitely be unveiled at the launch event in China tomorrow. Rumors suggest the smartphone will run on a 10nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 octa-core processor and feature a triple-camera setup with a 48MP Sony IMX586 primary sensor.
