Vivo is set to launch two new smartphones in China next week. While a slightly tweaked version of the V15 Pro will be launched as the X27 in China, the standard V15 is set to debut in China as the S1. Ahead of the launch event on March 19, Vivo today confirmed some of the key specs of the upcoming X27.
Vivo X27 Specs Officially Confirmed
Vivo has confirmed that the upcoming mid-range smartphone will have a 48MP triple-camera setup with a dedicated night mode for impressive low-light performance. In the memory department, Vivo X27 will be available in a single configuration with 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. When it comes to battery life, the Chinese Vivo X27 will be slightly more impressive than the V15 Pro, thanks to a larger 4000mAh capacity battery. The V15 Pro, which was launched in India last month, is fueled by a 3700mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
A recent leak out of China had claimed that Vivo will launch a Pro variant of the X27 alongside the standard X27 and the S1. The Vivo X27 Pro will reportedly be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset and feature a larger 6.7-inch display with a rather large pop-up selfie camera. Alleged images of the Vivo X27 Pro suggest the pop-up selfie camera on the smartphone will slide out of the middle instead of on the right. While the pop-up selfie camera module on the X27 houses just the camera sensor, the X27 Pro module will include an LED flash as well. Similarly, the X27 Pro will have the triple rear cameras placed in the middle and not towards the left side. It is rumored that both the Vivo X27 and X27 Pro models will come with a 48MP Sony IMX586 primary sensor. They will also feature additional 13MP and 5MP sensors on the back.
