The Vivo Y19 is one of the latest handsets falling in the company’s Y-series of devices. It was unwrapped in Vietnam alongside the new Vivo Y11 this month itself but still has quite a few of its specifications under wraps. The handset’s CPU isn’t known but we’ve found a Geekbench listing of the model today that reveals its processor. The Vivo Y19 was also recently spotted on BIS India some days back suggesting an imminent debut in the country. It bears the model number Vivo 1915.
As per Geekbench’s log of the device, the handset’s CPU is the MediaTek Helio P65 SoC. This is a 64-bit ARM LTE SoC introduced in mid-2019 fabricated on TSMC’s 12nm process. The chip incorporates eight cores – two Cortex-A75 big cores and six Cortex-A55 little cores operating at up to 2 GHz and a Mali-G52 GPU operating at up to 820 MHz. If you’re wondering about the low scores, we’ve mentioned earlier it is because of the new Geekbench V5.0.3. Other rudimentary details we get from the log include the mention of 6GB of RAM and Android 9.0 Pie.
From our previous official encounter, it is known that the Vivo Y19 rocks a 6.53-inch full HD+ display with a V-shaped notch design. We also know that 4G handset will be packing in a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support for the affordable mid-ranger. Apart from that, camera specifications and more details aren’t available yet but should be known soon.
