Xiaomi is all geared up to launch the Mi CC9 Pro and the Mi Watch on November 5. On top of these two devices, the company will also launch the fifth generation of its Mi TV lineup of televisions. Now, a newly leaked image suggests that it could be a Mi TV 5 Pro variant which will most likely be the one to feature the latest Amlogic T972 chipset.
We might be getting a Pro variant of the Mi TV 5
Though the image clearly showcases that there is indeed a Mi TV 5 Pro, it is not 100 percent confirmed as of now, so we might as well take the news with a pinch of salt.
As far as the Amlogic T972 is concerned, the processor will be coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
The chipset is clocked at 1.9GHz and is based on a 12nm manufacturing process and will offer a whopping 63 percent performance improvement over the last-generation chipset.
Furthermore, the Mi TV 5 Pro (if any) would most likely feature a 4K QLED panel making it the company’s first-ever as the earlier devices in the Mi TV lineup had either an LCD or an LED display.
Additionally, the TV will feature MEMC (Motion Estimation and Motion Compensation) and will support HDR10+.
